When thinking of what to print from my food modeling project, I was confused. Trifle wouldn't look like trifle when 3D printed, and stools will probably collapse during the printing process. Thankfully, i modeled several bowls to accompany my food. Not only does a bowl look good, but it also has some value in my daily life. As a result, I printed a bowl, spray painted it, and put it to use. Here is the final product: The pattern was the result of a layer of plastic wrap which i placed above the fresh spray paint.

As with every art project, creating my trifle and its scene had its challenges. My biggest challenge was working with what I have. Trifle isn’t a particularly common food to eat, and few things go well with it. In addition, not many places actually serve it. I had to be imaginative in creating a scene and mood that fits the trifle and isn’t too plain. Although I had briefly planned out the scene before I began modeling my project, I encountered an imaginative roadblock once I completed my trifle model. I overcame this by looking at pictures of restaurants and gathering concepts, moods, and furniture or layout ideas from them. In the end, I successfully crafted a suitable environment for the trifle. I'm sure most- if not all- of us have seen the bottoms of chairs and stools which are specifically created to give stability to the chair and to protect the ground from being damaged when the chair is moved. Well, two chairs in my house have an incomplete set of those. This causes the chairs to constantly shift their weight across their legs, and it also causes the chairs to dig into soft surfaces such as dirt and grass. Things as specific as these are not necessarily widely available at stores, and tennis balls wouldn't look too pleasant, so the chairs were left the way they were. As a digital modeling student, however, I came across this idea: why not 3D print it? My father and I discussed the idea for a few minutes and headed straight to work. He collected the diameter of the chair's foot as well as the height of one of the remaining pieces of plastic. The biggest challenge I encountered while creating this project is getting accustomed to using NERBs, and I overcame this challenge by experimenting with NERBs and rewatching the instruction video.

Close Up Shot with Formal Balance and Repetition  This still showcases the lighthouse from a relatively close camera angle. The lighthouse's base and semi-circular top reinforce curved lines, but the presence of straight lines is more apparent through the rain and the glare. These repetitive vertical lines emphasize the mood and the subject and draw the viewer's eyes to the more infrequent curved lines. Moreover, this still has a formal balance across the y axis as the lighthouse is centered in the picture, and this emphasizes the lighthouse and draws attention to its details.
